Being a photographer means being a part of people's lives, their joy, and their moments. I have had the privilege of knowing Alice and Eddie for over six years now and have watched their relationship bloom beautifully over time. I was thrilled when they asked me to photograph their engagement session. As Alice is herself an accomplished photographer, I knew this session was going to be a unique, creative experience, and indeed it was!

They yearned for an earthy vibe, for something different from the usual Orlando spots where Alice frequently photographed her clients. They desired a locale that echoed their love of nature and matched their personalities - serene yet vibrant, grounded yet adventurous. After much scouting, we stumbled upon the perfect location – the mesmerizing Blowing Rocks Preserve in Jupiter, Florida. A hidden gem, this beach haven with its exotic limestone formations and azure sea offered an enchanting canvas of beige, brown, and blue.

The day of the shoot was fraught with challenges. The weather forecast was less than promising, predicting rain all day. And just as they set off for the shoot, Alice and Eddie got a flat tire. As if that wasn't enough, we were racing against the clock, with the park closing early. But the couple's spirits remained unbroken. Their determination to celebrate their love was infectious, and we all decided to carry on despite the hitches. After all, love isn't about always having sunny days, it's about weathering the storm together.

And oh, how that decision paid off! As we reached the Preserve, we found ourselves surrounded by a serene landscape. The looming rain clouds cast an ethereal light, making the blues of the sea richer and the beiges and browns of the landscape more intense. Nature had conspired to give us the most beautiful backdrop we could have hoped for.

We laughed, we improvised, and we captured the essence of Alice and Eddie's relationship against this stunning backdrop. The pure love they share was evident in each glance, each touch, and it was an absolute joy to witness. Alice, with her radiant smile, and Eddie, looking at her with such warmth and affection, made the session one I’ll remember forever.

Despite the time constraints, the flat tire, and the ominous weather, we created something magical that day. It was a session that encapsulated their journey of love, full of its own set of challenges and triumphs. It reminded us all that sometimes the best things happen unexpectedly, and that love always wins, against all odds.

Looking back, I feel privileged to have been a part of Alice and Eddie's special day. Their engagement session was not just a testament to their unwavering love but also a lesson in embracing the unexpected. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this amazing couple.
